Hiberation Over

The Winter hibernation is over.
I have been out weeding and mowing - this winter has been so wet it has been almost impossible to work in the garden, even on the raised beds.

This is the veggie garden at the minute, just about to plant up Bed 2, in the distance. I have some Oct 2011 expiry Chantenay carrots from Eden Seeds, that I think I will try anyway. Just put in twice as many and see how they go. Their packets are very generous, so we always have a lot left over.

I love the tall and staturesque nature of the Broad Beans, above. If you stand in the right place you cannot see Bed 1, behind them, is full of weeds.

Still Here

Spring is almost here, and since I only now have one garden, I cannoy wait to get back into it. Not a lot of plants came with me from my old one, but I did manage to bring a few of the Heleborus. Just waiting to see what comes out in each pot.

But a few of my friends came with me.

And I do have a new camera.
